Elizabeth Harding 1791 by Hands Across the Sea Samplers

The red checkerboard border is my favorite on this one. And the black and white checkerboard welcome mat in front of the red house. Elizabeth loved red, and the colors in this sampler are just gorgeous. Regular cross stitch, with the addition of one over one on the verses.
