Alternative Trees by Modern Folk Embroidery

There are so many ways to stitch this one up. It was designed as a companion piece to Reaching Skyward, in case anyone wanted an alternative medallion for the middle of that piece. But it also looks beautiful in fours like this, or of course could be done as individual framed pieces or pillows in your favorite colors.

Stitch Count: Each square is 123 x 133

Model Fabric: 32 count linen
(or whatever fabric you prefer)

Threads:

For all four squares: approximately 8 skeins of DMC in the lighter color and 15 of the darker color, if stitching with two strands.
