Birdsong I by The Prairie Schooler

Any time there is a cardinal on a piece - I want to stitch it. Even better, this one also has a female cardinal on the smaller piece! It looks like the male is out hunting and the female is watching over home. The verse says: A bird does not sing because is has an answer ... it sings because it has a song.
